Can you guarantee that all stains will be removed?
It is not possible to guarantee that all stains will be removed completely. Some stains are permanent.
Can you remove mold or mildew stains?
In most instances we can succesfully remove mold and mildew stains. But much depends on the fabric and the item. For example, we can practically eliminate mildew stains from Silhouettes, but some (usually non visible) parts of Luminettes are harder to rid of residual gray stains.
Can you remove water stains?
Water stains are tough. If big enough and on natural fabric, they are there to stay. But many times we have been successful in removing water stains that looked hopeless at first sight. It is always trial and error.
The lining on drapes is too frail. Can you fix that?
We can replace the lining on your drapes.
Is there a minimum charge for your services?
Yes, there is. Our minimum charge is $250.00
How often should I clean my drapes?
Well, some people never clean their drapes - but that's not an example of good housekeeping. Those who do clean their drapes, usually do it every four to five years. The same goes for Hunter Douglas blinds and shades.
One of the most logical times to clean drapery is when you remodel your place. In fact, it is often a necessety because of the construction dust. But it also makes sense to get drapery out of the way, not the least to protect it from accidental damage.
We are happy to haul away your window treatment for the time of your remodeling, then bring it back, clean and re-install it when all the dust has settled.
There is no extra charge for storage.
Protect your expensive drapery -- do not let construction workers hanlde it.
Drapes and Valances
We clean drapes insite truck-mounted dry-clean machine. It is non-immersive, cold dry cleaning process that has been developed specifically for drapery cleaning. Because of this proprietory technology, we can guarantee that our cleaning will never cause shrinkage or discoloration.
Silhouettes. Luminettes and other shades
The method we employ for cleaning of Hunter Douglas Silhouettes, Luminettes, Duettes and other blinds and shades is called injection-extraction. This is not only the safest, but most thorough method for cleaning of shades and blinds. The manufacturer, Hunter Douglas, ranks injection-extraction method as number one choice for their products.
